Terms of Service

These terms ("Terms") form a binding agreement between EstateVera Ltd ("EstateVera") and the person or entity that registers an account ("you"). By creating an account or using the service you accept these Terms.

1. The service

EstateVera provides a cloud platform for UK landlords and letting agents to manage property compliance, documents, tenants, contractors and maintenance. Features may evolve over time.

2. Your account

• You must be 18+ and able to enter a contract.
• Keep your credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information about yourself and your portfolio.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use EstateVera to break the law, infringe third-party rights, upload malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access. Don't resell access without our written agreement.

4. Subscriptions, billing & refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Paddle.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on subscription and add-on purchases. To request a refund, visit paddle.net or see our Refund Policy for full details. You can cancel any time and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of the data you upload. You grant EstateVera a limited licence to host, process and display it solely to provide the service. See the Privacy Policy and DPA for details.

6. Compliance disclaimer

EstateVera helps you track regulatory obligations but does not provide legal advice. You remain responsible for meeting your duties as a landlord, including gas safety, electrical, EPC, deposit protection, HMO licensing and right-to-rent checks.

7. AI features

Where EstateVera uses AI to extract data from your documents, output may contain errors. Always review extracted dates, certificate numbers and amounts before relying on them.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and incidents will be communicated where reasonable.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EstateVera's total liability for any claim is limited to fees paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

Either party can terminate for material breach. On termination your data is retained for 90 days for export, then deleted.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
